Getting stronger
shouldn’t be guesswork.

Pick how you want an exercise to progress and BuildX carries it forward for you — reading what you actually completed last time, then setting the next target. Turn it on per plan, and switch method whenever the goal changes.

WeightIncreases the load by about 10% once you complete every set, rounding up to the next weight you actually have.
RepsAdds two repetitions to each set once you hit the current rep target consistently.
Extra setAdds another set to the exercise when all of the current sets come back completed.
Reduced restShortens the rest between sets a little at a time, when conditioning is the goal.

And when a straight set isn’t the point.

Drop sets, partial reps and supersets are first-class in the logger — not a note you leave yourself in a comment field.

Drop setsTake the set to failure, strip the weight and keep going. Each drop is logged with its own load and reps, so the volume counts and the next session knows where you finished.
Partial repsReduced range-of-motion reps at the end of a set, recorded separately from the full ones — the extra work shows up in your volume without inflating your rep target.
SupersetsPair exercises together and the app moves you between them, keeping one rest timer across the pair instead of two.

ONE SET. THREE LOADS. ALL OF IT COUNTED.

Leave the phone
in your bag.

Start a session, log every set and keep an eye on your heart rate from your wrist. It syncs back to your phone on its own — and keeps working when you are out of range.

  • Strength sessions and cardio, both on-watch
  • Live heart rate and calories while you train
  • Works offline, syncs when it can

Let’s talk
What is BuildX?

BuildX brings workout planning, in-session logging, progress insights, and coaching into one connected training platform. The app is your training companion; BuildX Coach is the workspace for coaches and their clients.

Can I download the app now?

Public App Store and Google Play links are not available yet. Use “Request app access” to email us about availability for your device. We’ll help you with the next step.

Do I need a coach to use BuildX?

No. You can build and follow your own workouts and training plans. If you work with a BuildX coach, your assigned programming and the data you choose to share help keep you connected.

Can I use my own training plan?

Yes. Create workouts with your preferred exercises, sets, and targets, then organize them into a plan. You can also discover shared programming or follow a plan assigned by your coach.

What can my coach see?

You control your coaching connection and data-sharing settings in the app. Your coach can review the training and progress information you choose to share to help guide your next steps.
